Crested Butte Mountain Resort, known for its steeps and powder, is partnering with Osprey Packs for the 2008-2009 winter season. Osprey will be working with the newly created Crested Butte Adventure Guides program.

The Adventure Guides program encourages skiers and riders to get “out of the norm” and adventure into the backcountry. Participants will gain backcountry skills and learn about the terrain the area has to offer. The Adventure Guide program chose Osprey’s Switch 26 snow pack as their pack of choice  because of its incredible backcountry functions and features. The Switch series is designed inside and out with the backcountry skier in mind, with a hatchback style lid, access to wet and fry compartments, and hydration routing.
