Verde PR and Consulting is offering a select number of unpaid Internships in our Durango, CO and Jackson, WY office locations. Verde is a 10+ year old Public Relations and consulting company with offices in Durango, Boulder and Jackson, WY.

Intern – PR team

The PR Intern position is support role, but encourages growth and creativity on a daily basis and holds great potential for moving up within the company. This candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, quickly evolving environment and be able to drive projects to completion.

• Ad Equivalency reports and quarterly activity reports
• Tracking and Monitoring Media Placements and hits
• Maintaining Client Media Hit Blogs
• Posting Press Releases to Trades
• Post press releases to online channels: SNEWS, OIA, PitchEngine, Outdoor USA, PR Log, PPR
• Distributing Press Releases to Media Lists and Contacts
• Building Media Lists
• Facebook and Twitter updates
• Scanning magazines/newspapers for hits
• Researching Editorial Calendars
• Facilitating Media Requests and tracking media requests and forecasted hits
• Additional duties as assigned

Required
• High School Diploma/GED
• Enrolled in College or recent College Graduate

Intern – Paid Media and Social Media Teams

We are looking for talented Web developers and content producers who will have a keen eye for design and a passion for growing the Verde PR client community. This effort requires a broad set of skills, including the following in the list below. This candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, quickly evolving environment and be able to drive projects to completion.

• Experience planning, designing, and developing websites, including layout, content, and experience
• HTML, Javascript, CSS
• Photoshop experience, for wireframing or implementing designs from visual designers
• Web analytics experience (Google analytics)
• Experience growing and managing communities
• Social media experience
• Search engine optimization (SEO) and tracking
• Experience maintaining websites and growing communities
• Multimedia production and management (videos)
• Excellent communication skills
• Project leadership experience
• Agile, iterative development experience Required

Intern – Market Research and Analysis

Verde PR and Consulting is looking for a Market Research and Sales Prospecting Intern. This position requires a broad set of skills and requires a high level of organization and a proactive approach to work. This candidate will thrive in a fastpaced, quickly evolving environment and be able to drive projects to completion.

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
• Experience  with CRM systems and/or tracking customer communications
• Social media property analysis
• Web site analysis
• Social media experience
• Search engine optimization (SEO) and tracking
• Experience using online tools to assess web sites
• Excellent communication skills
• Project leadership experience

Required
• High School Diploma/GED
• Enrolled in College or recent College Graduate
