P4C - Publish for a Cause - Leveraging the Power of Media
Verde is committed to creating a platform for change through public relations, communications and corporate social responsibility. Publish for a Cause (P4C) is an initiative that focuses on our key media stakeholders. P4C enables the media to easily harness their incredible reach and direct it toward causes that are important to them. P4C is intended to inspire, offer research and preparation for selling articles on cause-related subjects to our members.
As former journalists, we realize that media have the power to reach many more individuals through the messaging in an article than non-profits, businesses or individuals can working on a daily basis for a cause.
We also realize that our media friends are very busy. P4C offers contacts by opening our PR software to our media partners. We also offer new monthly pitch ideas and will be giving access to experts through conference calls every six weeks to two months. What’s more, we’ve partnered with our clients the Conservation Alliance and The Outdoor Foundation to bring more resources and story leads to the media participating in P4C. Additionally, members of the media have full access to our PR software, allowing them to build their contact lists and reach out to new publications and readerships with cause-related stories. Verde is re-launching the newsletter for P4C in Sept. 2008, allowing a news synopsis for media interested in leads on cause-related stories.
Verde hopes to inspire the media to use their profession to create positive change.
