Building upon his roots as a ski guide and kayak instructor, Daniel has spent the last 25 years handling national PR/media relations for brand category leaders within the outdoor, active lifestyle industries. One of his many specialties is dreaming up over-the-top, immersive media events which have resulted in a wealth of first-name basis media contacts.
Currently, Daniel oversees Verde’s new business development keeping a keen eye out for synergistic growth opportunities, especially within the outdoor, wintersports, cycling and watersports categories. A big believer in Verde’s “digital-first” PR/media relations approach, Daniel serves a pivotal role in making sure Verde’s brand strategies are fully integrated across all available channels including traditional PR, web/digital platforms, social media and self-publishing outlets – the goal being to combine earned, owned and paid media placements to directly drive sales.
When he’s not pitching story ideas, Daniel splits his time between the Tetons and Tahoe exploring wild places via skis/snowboard, snowmobile, mountain bike, kayak or driftboat. His wife, two kids and hunting dog also keep him company, doing their best to tire him out during their adventures outdoors.
