Growing up in Boulder, Colorado Matt Sklar fell in love with the outdoors, pushing from a young age to pursue a career in the outdoors industry. For Matt, it all started in high school and college with a camera - photographing some of the biggest names and events in skiing. Nowadays his domain is the web, bringing years of expertise in digital marketing and eCommerce. Still, you might find his name popping up on article bylines or the photo credits for events like the Dew Tour from time to time. 

College at the University of Puget Sound brought Matt out to the PNW where he has stuck around since. Most recently, he spent a number of years at action sports and lifestyle retailer evo launching world-class content and helping drive the SEO program. Along his journey at evo, he touched nearly every digital channel and program.

His background in journalism & photography combined with the data-driven aspects of SEO and digital marketing gives Matt a great perspective. This helps folks not only tell their stories but also get those stories seen.
