Happy holidays & cheers to 2024 from the Verde team

As 2023 draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year and the wonderful relationships we've built. We want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your partnership and trust in Verde.

May your winter season be filled with moments of peace, joy, and nature.

2023 highlights from the Verde team

Alexa

Alexa tied the knot this year, summer camp style! In the Fall, she took her honeymoon to Nepal where she trekked in the high Himalayas, ate more dal bhat than she thought was humanly possible, and got to see rhinos and elephants up close in the wild. One of her favorite work highlights this year was helping plan and execute two successful media showrooms in New York City.

Becca

Adopted a new dog, Wylie, who is aptly named after the coyote. My favorite Verde moments are connecting with the team in-person at our annual media events. We have such a wonderful team and it feels great to get to spend time with everyone again!

Dave

Dave, his wife and daughter took his dad, who's 84, on a trip to England and Scotland. Work highlights this year included helping refine systems that allow Verde to continue to thrive in the post-pandemic environment where employees are in different locations.

Elias

Elias took his love of travel to new heights, taking a trip to Tahiti and swimming with whales and other sea creatures. One of his biggest Verde wins this year was returning to in-person events on behalf of clients like Unbound Gravel, The Sea Otter Classic Summit and Outdoor Media Alliance.

Gina

Gina mountain biked off the Top of the World at Whistler bike park this summer, which is usually snowed in. Gina enjoyed helping facilitate Verde's media event in NYC and stepping out from behind the veil of operations.

Jenna

Jenna went with the flow this year, taking more than 130 yoga classes at her local studio. One of her work highlights was attending media events and she particularly loved the Nederland backpacking trip with co-workers and journalists to test out client gear.

Julie

Julie's highlight was watching her oldest daughter sign her letter of commitment to play Division II lacrosse in college next year. Work highlights include all of the in-person events and time spent with the Verde team. And seeing the success and excitement around the launch of Jogology socks to the Run Specialty market.

Kevin

Kevin enjoyed kicking off his new son's (hopefully) lifelong love of travel and adventure by visiting a half dozen countries, taking more than a dozen flights, and experiencing more than his fair share of overnight camping trips before he was 18 months old. He was extremely grateful to work with amazing, passionate brands that kept the stoke-o-meter pegged sky high the entire year.

Kristin

Kristin continued to experience the incredible growth and successes of her two amazing kids this year, Tobin and Bella. She also signed up for the 2024 LT 100 mountain bike race, after taking a two year hiatus, and will be fully immersed in all things Leadville in 2024. Kristin enjoyed experiencing the highly successful leadership of her business partner and dear friend, Julie Evans, as CEO of Verde. She also loved seeing Lauren become a Mom for the second time and Alexa get married and go on her dream honeymoon with new husband, Will. Verde is truly a family, and Krsitin loves the team so much!

Lauren

Lauren welcomed her second son, Dax, in March. She returned to work in August and has enjoyed the return to media events and in person connection on behalf of her brands.

Maor

Maor returned to full swing of training after her last season was derailed due to an injury; and is now vying to qualify for her 3rd Olympic Team. One of her work highlights is getting to work with Life Time events and acquiring new PR skills and learning new PR strategies through her work with Life Time.

Marisa

Marisa earned her second belt buckle at the Leadville 100 Trail MTB this summer. Verde has the privilege of working with some of the newest brands in the industry and Marisa was an integral part of launching brands like Vimazi and Jogology.

Matt

Matt finished building his cabin in the woods of Washington. One of his biggest Verde highlights this year was helping Verde's account teams up-level their approach to PR with a digital and SEO-informed strategy.

Max

Max had his first powder days in nearly 4 years in 2023. His biggest work highlights from this year was taking the reins on Scuba Show 2023 and stepping in to support Wyoming Whiskey for their summer media events

Ryan

Ryan pedalled his bike more than 2,300 miles this year. A work highlight is working with Life Time events and experiencing popular Life Time events like Unbound Gravel in-person for the first time

Siena

Siena spent Midsummer in Sweden this summer where she learned how to properly "fikka" with the lovely folks at RECCO.
