Crazy Creek and artist Rachel Pohl launch limited-edition Hex 2.0 collab chairs, highlight Montana roots

In a three-part collaboration, Rachel Pohl’s landscapes come to life on Crazy Creek’s iconic Hex 2.0 chairs.

Red Lodge, Mont. (July 17, 2025) Crazy Creek Products, a pioneer in portable outdoor seating, is proud to announce a new three-part collaboration with acclaimed artist, adventurer and environmental advocate Rachel Pohl. The first release of the Crazy Creek  x Rachel Pohl collection launches today,  featuring her artwork on Crazy Creek’s signature Hex 2.0 Chair.

This limited-edition series celebrates a shared love for wild places, colorful expression and Montana roots. Born and raised in Bozeman, Pohl is known for her vibrant landscape paintings that capture the wonder and awe of the natural world. As a writer, humanitarian, and environmentalist, she inspires a deep connection with nature.

"This is the collab of my dreams because it combines so many things I cherish: colorful artwork, finding stillness in nature, nostalgic storytelling, and the ability to carry a piece of Montana with me wherever I go,” said Pohl. “I've been a fan of Crazy Creek chairs for 30 years, because they are synonymous with the happiest times of my life—camping, hiking, painting, sitting around the campfire, all in my favorite places with my favorite people and pets. I hope you are able to create many memories over countless years with your Pine Creek chair, and that it creates and then holds a bit of the magic of some of your happiest moments, too."

The first drop in the series, the Pine Creek colorway, will feature the "paintbrush and asters" print from Pohl's "August Paintbrush" painting on the HEX 2.0 Original Chair, which is lightweight, packable, and ready for adventure. Like Pohl, Crazy Creek was born in Montana and built for the outdoors. With decades of backcountry credibility, Crazy Creek continues to innovate while celebrating the people and places that make outdoor life unforgettable.

The Crazy Creek x Rachel Pohl collection will roll out in three series, with the first launch available in limited quantities this July. Each drop will include a new design that brings Pohl’s signature style to the trail-tested comfort of Crazy Creek chairs.

Whether you're watching the sunrise from a ridge or sitting fireside with friends, this collaboration invites you to sit back, stay awhile, and enjoy the great outdoors.
