The holidays are approaching fast, and while some people may leave their gift shopping for the last minute, other shoppers are already well on their way. Skiing, like many outdoor sports, saw a huge growth in interest and participation around the pandemic. Snowsports Industries America (SIA), one of Verde’s clients, places a high priority on looking at participation data. Backcountry continued its meteoric rise, with 30 percent of survey respondents participating in 2022-23 compared to 17 percent in 2021-22. Though participation growth overall was smaller than during the boom of the pandemic, it remains positive. The survey also found that snowboarding participation increased 10 percent, while downhill skiing participation increased 2.2 percent year-over-year. That means more new skiers — or people returning to the sport after a break — who will be looking to update their gear.

Wyoming Whiskey Outryder
Outryder represents Wyoming Whiskey’s first use of rye, along with corn and malted barley. It quickly became a favorite amongst whiskey connoisseurs across the country and has a history unlike any other product in the Wyoming Whiskey portfolio.
Originally designed to be a rye whiskey, Wyoming Whiskey's founding distiller Steve Nally was an outrider himself and created a new unique whiskey that combined bourbon & rye flavor notes.
