SCARPA embraces versatility, drives innovation with Spring 2026 trail, hike, climb footwear launches

Versatile new designs respond to the growing overlap of
hiking, trail running and daily use.

BOULDER, Colo. (Feb. 18, 2026) — Building on its legacy of design innovation and craftsmanship, SCARPA introduces new and updated models across hiking, running, field, and climbing categories for Spring 2026. From crossover trail shoes that adapt to varying terrain to field-ready boots for backcountry users and revolutionary updates in climbing footwear, the new collection underscores SCARPA’s commitment to performance, comfort and sustainability for a broad range of outdoor pursuits.

Crossover Trail Footwear: Ribelle® Cross 2 and Golden Gate LT

As the lines continue to blur between hiking, trail running and approach footwear, two spring launches from SCARPA — the Ribelle® Cross 2 and Golden Gate LT — reflect a growing demand for shoes that move confidently across changing terrain, conditions and daily use. Rather than fitting neatly into a single category, today’s users are looking for lightweight, stable and adaptable footwear that can keep up with fast-paced adventures and everyday movement alike.

The Ribelle® Cross 2 expands SCARPA’s growing portfolio of lightweight trail and hiking footwear with a design that blends the nimble feel of a trail-running shoe with the protection, traction and stability required for demanding hikes. Built around a signature SCARPA construction, the Ribelle® Cross 2 uses a unique, tensioned rand that wraps the entire foot to provide exceptional structure and protection while maintaining a lightweight feel. This more detailed two-step construction process allows the TPU rand to extend beyond the upper and integrate into the midsole, wrapping underfoot for improved support and confident foot placement in uneven terrain. The Ribelle® Cross 2 is available in a breathable low-cut version, a waterproof low-cut with a GORE-TEX ePE membrane, and a mid-cut waterproof option.

The Golden Gate LT brings a more casual crossover approach to SCARPA’s trail collection. Designed for everyday use, this new addition to the Golden Gate family delivers a cushioned, lively ride that performs equally well on gravel paths, firm surfaces and urban miles. An exceptionally comfortable fit anchors the Golden Gate LT, pairing a secure heel and mid-foot with ample toe room. Underfoot, a combination EVA and Pebax midsole provides stability with a responsive feel, while a breathable engineered mesh upper maximizes airflow and comfort. A versatile outsole lug pattern ensures reliable traction across a wide range of terrain, making the Golden Gate LT a go-to option for users who want one shoe that adapts to whatever the day brings.

Rock Climbing Performance and Comfort: Updated Furia Air and Helix

At the performance end of SCARPA’s climbing spectrum, the Furia Air — already renowned as one of the world’s lightest and most sensitive climbing shoes — receives an updated last for a closer, more glove-like fit. The shoe’s refined Z-strap closure, TPU-coated heel, and eight-panel construction enhance precision and control. Built with a minimal microfiber upper, flexible DTS tension system, and M50 rubber outsole, the Furia Air remains the benchmark in light weight paired with sensitivity.

For everyday use, the refreshed Helix and new Helix V bring enhanced comfort and modernized performance to an enduring favorite. Updates include a redesigned last for improved forefoot room, sustainable metal-free suede upper, recycled rubber content, and a more secure forefoot wrap. Offering both lace and Velcro versions, the Helix line provides climbers and guides with all-day comfort and versatility from gym sessions to long trad routes.

Field and Mountain: Rebel and Mont Blanc Boots

Drawing on decades of expertise in technical mountain footwear, SCARPA launches a new collection of field boots designed in collaboration with backcountry hunters, guides, and field professionals.

The Rebel 10 HD and Rebel 8 HD combine lightweight synthetic PU uppers, HDry waterproofing, and a robust PU/Tek rand for 360-degree protection in rugged terrain. The taller Rebel 10 adds Primaloft Gold Eco insulation for colder conditions, while both models incorporate Vibram Total Traction/Mont soles for confident grip. They join the R-Evolution 8 HD, which launched last fall.

Completing the lineup, the Mont Blanc GTX stands out as a robust mountain boot for guides, hunters, and trail/field workers. Constructed with premium Italian Perwanger suede and S-Tech fabric, it integrates a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane, dual-density cushioning midsole, and Vibram Essential AC/Mont outsole for unmatched durability and stability in demanding alpine or field conditions.
